BYOGB vol. 2 – House Party

With over 8 million trips daily on the system’s ten lines, Seoul has one of the most convenient and sophisticated subway systems in the world.  The city is so big, that riding the subway from one side of the city to the other can take well over an hour.  Yet, with all this time spent on the subway, there are very few opportunities for fun and excitement besides the occasional drunken businessman or travelling salesperson.  BYOGB vol. 2 'House Party', was an attempt to use the space of the subway car in an entirely different way.  It was amazing what a little Madonna on the Ghettoblaster and a roll of red carpet can do to change the environment completely.  Several artists put up installations and we also offered free wine and tangerines to passengers to encourage everyone to have a good time and hang out.   For those of you that couldn’t make it, check out the photos below.
