Memory is the Space of Time
I am interested in the concept of repetition in time and space. For me, vision, sound, feeling, and touch are all brought together by the relationship between time and space. My work is based on therapeutic memories and records of aesthetics which rely on a mutual understanding of both time and space.

Lines That Pierce the Heart
I believe that my heart's rotation is at the centre of my universe, so I need to listen to it.

First of all, I believe that the most important part of my work is a sense of feeling. When people see my work, I want them to remember it like a good movie. I want my work to be like a poem which leaves a subtle yearning, an elusive emotion, or some other delicate sentiment in the viewers' minds. I love Kiki Smith and Louis Bourgeois for the same reasons. I am also influenced mainly by the work of Marcel Dzama and Henry Darger. Their work uses an odd charm to support their unique style and that’s something that I aim for in my work as well. I try not to go by a set of rules when I'm working and I try to let myself be as free as possible in the process of art making. My work consists of painting, illustration, drawing, print-making, digital work, typography, objects and installation.

Despite working in all these different mediums, I think I still maintain a specific style. My love for handiwork plays a huge part in my work. Even while making a poster, I create every letter and character by hand.  I am passionate about the delicacy of my work, especially in the sensitivity shown in my etchings.

Lately, I'm really into the colors red and blue as I have become kind of obsessed with airmail envelopes. My interests also include white snow, feathers, and furry animals, which are mainly due to my curiosity about the North Pole. Recently I have been focusing on making art that deals with memories that stay leave a strong impression in our minds, but at the same time are often easily forgotten.
