Through detailed paintings, the artist captures the mundane with vivid clarity and a near photographic quality.  His everyday scenes focus on repetition found in the city that is created by mass production and the efforts of modern civilization.  Most memorable is a work showing students studying in the library arranged like the books on the wall, in perfect order and repetition.
